Clicking “explore” gives you a photo and story for each point on the voyage. We read that Cook’s scientific experiments were a cover for England’s true purpose of finding a southern continent and claiming it for the crown. They found something called Australia. We learned that Magellan and his crew survived by eating leather straps from the ship’s rigging. No word on how prepared.
