Whenever you have a Windows operating problem, you can usually find an answer by going to Microsoft’s own web site:

 The bad news is the answer will often require you to type in a series of commands that are both arcane and difficult to place. After years of driving people nuts with these complex “fixes,” somebody at Microsoft had a moment of epiphany and said ‘why don’t we just string all these commands together and put up a button that says “just fix it?”’ What a great question! The answer is they now have this for a few problems. More to come?
