GetHuman.com gives you phone numbers to bypass voice mail hell and get a real person. Not all the tips work. For example, to avoid the 35-minute hold time for American Airlines, we kept pressing 0 to get a human. For a few glorious seconds, it sounded like a human was about to come on. Then we got a busy signal. They’re not going to make it that easy.
