Just about nothing is as easy for making slideshows as Windows Live Movie Maker,  free from Microsoft.

Click a button to keep adding photos or videos. Click a button to rotate photos that are on their side. Click “publish” from the “File” menu to save your slideshow on SkyDrive, YouTube, Facebook, etc. SkyDrive will require you to install the free Silverlight program from Microsoft. If you choose YouTube, you can click “private,” so no one can see it unless you share the link.

In a Mac, open iPhoto and add photos from the photo gallery. Export your finished slideshow back onto the USB stick or publish it to YouTube and other sites.
