There are 140,000 iPad apps. Who can make sense of that? If you took a quick look at 140 apps a day, it would take a thousand days, or a bit shy of three years. (No fair taking a break on weekends.)

So here we have one man’s recommendations for over 200 iPad apps, neatly categorized by subject: weather, dictionaries, travel, finance, music, photos, avatar creation, etc. (Avatar creation? Hey: a gamer’s gotta do what a gamer’s gotta do.) There are illustrations on every page. Can’t go wrong. It’s enough to make us want to buy an iPad.
