  • LimeExchange.com is a free site that gives businesses a place to find freelance service providers. A quick look found people who offered writing and translating, market research, legal counseling, web site development, programming, data entry, etc. The site lets potential customers see a sample of each person’s previous work.
  • Gaebler.com is venture capital firm and service provider for new businesses. They have a bunch of helpful advice and other notes you can click on for free, and an interesting list of new companies that have been started by former employees of Google.
  • Ubik.com is a free site that provides instructions on  how to create a mobile web site for cell phones. They claim you can build a site optimized for cell phone viewing in about 15 minutes.
  • RocketLife.com is a fun place for creating unusual photo gifts, like mugs, coasters, tiles, notecards. You supply the pictures, they supply the products. Joy had a set of note cards made for $2.75 each. It’s a little expensive, but of course one of a kind.
