CHECKING YOUR PHONE 150 TIMES A DAY

Over 1.55 billion people have smartphones, up 30 percent over last year, according to analyst Mary Meeker of Kleiner Perkins Caulfield Byers. And they check those phones 150 times a day.
More than 500 million photos are posted each day, mainly on Facebook but also using Snapchat, Instagram and Flickr. Over 100 hours of video are uploaded each day to YouTube.
