Present Yourself book“Present Yourself,” by Seeborg and Meyer, $25 from, is about SlideShare, a free program used by 60 million people. They call it “the Youtube of PowerPoint presentations.”

Slideshare lets you publish slideshows, on both the SlideShare site and LinkedIn. In Google search results, Slideshare presentations often show up higher than the author’s own website. So a major reason to use Slideshare is to get discovered. It’s kind of like Twitter, in that way. Good SlideShare presenters have followers.

The authors guide you in the uses of slideshows, from “Visual Thinking in Business” to “Recruiting, Hiring and Getting Hired.” You can download the creations of others and remix and edit them to make your own.
