facebook-iconOn Facebook, you can send a message to anyone you find there. (We recently got a note from someone with the last name of Schwabach, wondering if we were related.)  On Twitter, you can only send a direct message to one of your “followers.” But that will soon be changing, according to a report at Mashable.com. Twitter is developing a “business center.” This will allow any Twitter user to send a message to Microsoft, for example, whether Microsoft follows them or not. That’s because businesses want to hear from people. Or at least they say they do. We wonder if they’ll start getting a lot of Twitter junk mail.
