“Teach Yourself LinkedIn in Ten Minutes,” by Patrice-Anne Rutledge, $15 from informit.com/sams.
LinkedIn.com is a social networking site designed principally for professional users. Bob uses it, for example, to connect with newspaper colleagues. Anyone can join or form a group. This book taught us a thing or two about the social network that helps people advance in their careers or stay connected to other working professionals. We learned how to create our own group, check out the blog posts of those in our network without leaving LinkedIn, find LinkedIn “apps,” find a recruiter, and so on.
