FADE TO BLACK
Posted on October 23rd, 2015 by Bob and Joy Schwabach
In the early days of computing, we had two colors: you could look at green on a black screen or white on a blue or black screen. Those were the days — exciting! And now we can have those days back using the Windows feature “high contrast settings.”
For Windows 10, type “high contrast settings” in the search box in the lower left of your desktop screen, what comes up gives you several viewing choices. We chose “high contrast black,” which creates a black background and white text. Joy didn’t stick with it, but Bob called it easy on the eyes, and brimming with nostalgia.
