We use a splitter to share one cable connection between two TVs. A new Gefen device lets you connect as many as 100 displays to one Ethernet cable. Who could possibly need a hundred displays? Think airport terminal. How about public school?

The “Daisy Chain HD System” from Gefen includes the sender, splitter and receiver units to extend a high definition signal to 100 TVs or monitors with one cable. The displays can be side by side or up to 100 meters apart. It works with all hi-def displays using HDMI and supports Blu-ray players, satellite set-top boxes and tablets. What is the cost? We tried to pin that down, but a company rep said it depended on the particular setup.
