MINIMAP

The nifitiest little browsing utility we’ve come across in a while is the MiniMap, which works only with Mozilla’s “Firefox” browser. If you don’t have Firefox, you can get it by going to Mozilla.com. It’s free.

You can have as many Internet browsers as you want, by the way. So if you’re a user of Microsoft’s “Internet Explorer,” adding another browser or even several more, will not interfere with your normal use. We have several browsers on our computers.

What MiniMap does is put a map on the left-hand side of your browser screen every time you highlight an address that comes up in some site you’re viewing. The map shows the street and town location for that address. We rate this super handy. To get the MiniMap program, just go to Google.com and type “Minimap sidebar.”
