BARNES & NOBLE’S NEW NOOK
Posted on October 20th, 2009 by Joy Schwabach
Move over Amazon Kindle. Barnes & Noble announced a Kindle competitor today. It’s called the Nook. Priced at $259, the same as Amazon’s reader, the Nook will let
you download books wirelessly. One major difference and benefit is that you will be able to share those books with your friends.
The Nook will have color touch-screen controls, though the reading display is still gray and white “E-Ink.” Courtesy of Google, half a million titles will be available free. You can pre-order the e-reader now, and get it on November 30.
